  • The castle is situated on a cliff, which overlooks the Strait of Messina and the beautiful Viola coast. Quoted in Greek-Latin classical texts, used the Normans, Aragonese and finally by Ruffo offers a spectacle to 360 degrees beautiful. From Apromonte, the Calabrian coast, North-Bagnara, palms, to Capo Vaticano-or South-with the final part of the province of Reggio Calabria-Peloritani above Messina. Inside there is a museum about the flora and fauna of the area, with the boat used for catching swordfish. Military, but also a small Manor housing court. To visit from top to bottom, even to grasp

  • From this unique Castle you can admire the picturesque landscape and remarkable. Its structure is impressive and could be better used for tourism purposes

  • Wonderful views and scenery. Worth the 2 Euros as you get to see all the way up and down the coast. Need to be able to climb stairs as they are obviously not very even.
