  • Location of the Church is already very beautiful. Is your moment of all the wonderful paintings, very impressive.

  • This church does not take too long to visit. It is a good place to see so that you have a comparison before you visit Monreale (which is spectacular).
  • Pride is this opera, however ugly by Mattia Preti, which was not well preserved nor worthily lit, but because the Church is interesting and rich, splendid Baroque masterpiece, whose natural environment formed by the two rock walls that surround it, make it look like a Pearl. The façade with three orders is a late baroque to neoclassical architectural evidence of the passage, really charming, especially when we observe Saints who will extend upward as little flames and the Virgin within the central arch. The Interior has a nave, rich in works of art, from funerary monuments, paintings, like the Immaculate between San Guglielmo and San Bartolomeo di Francesco Carillo or the Group of statues with the late of Christ, or the great Neapolitan sculptor Peter crib Padula (1773-1776) on the left side. Wonderful altarpiece executed in Rome in 1779 with the martyrdom of San Bartolomeo di Francesco Pascucci. Raise the sky towards the apse and time to admire the decorations in stucco and the three paintings with allegories of abundance, law and Fortress built by Giovan Battista Guys. I would say that this is not a good place and not to be missed!
