  • Nice walk, starting to climb from the Church of St. Joseph, then move on to the rock of Calvary Chapel, and then get there with a comfortable stretch of stradella, but in context with a view to say the least, especially if done just before dusk. Arrived on, find a large iron gate, and beyond, to read at first sight of the Church, will introduce you in a never ending story of people from here. Visiting the Interior, where you will find a full convent Hall, water well, like a balcony overlooking the Church of St Bartholomew, cava, and astonishment that under your feet there is the cave where a hermit Monk in past her waist, leaving written artifacts, unique utility. Don't go into to make room at your discoveries, including through various book titles, you'll find in the country. You can get there also with private vehicle, going up the road to Sampieri-Cava D'aliga, after c.a. 3 curves. :)

  • We can go there by car, but also by the small streets and a little forest on foot, the convent was restored the shaded cloister is a haven of peace. the summer he gives concerts in the main church, and the view is great. Not to be missed

  • Beautiful and charming former convent renovated but not yet finished, like many Sicilian cultural heritage. In this case the monastery lacks all indications related to safety and escape routes: in the event of a fire, one can only run.
