Surrounded by a beautiful olive grove, the House Museum is housed in a historical building. The visits are by appointment and take about an hour. The journey into the world of SOAP (and indirectly in olive growing) who gave us Alexander (the owner) was fantastic, full of anecdotes and historical curiosities as well as having explained with great clarity and simplicity all steps in the production of SOAP. We also participated in the workshop on the preparation of a bar of SOAP. Absolutely recommended, if you switch from Sciacca a must stop by Alessandro who with his passion and kindness you will discover an ancient world but absolutely current!

We arrive at this "cascina" dispersed among the vineyards and olive groves Sciacca's campaign on 16 August. We introduce ourselves shortly after the 13 at the gate and call for Alexander, landlord creator and operator of the Museum. Greets us like old friends and shows us the moment his passion and his boundless enthusiasm. Takes us on a journey of odors, unique images and stories and topped off with an exuberance, a passion and a really infectious cheerfulness. Lets us know his life and passion and brings us closer to a world little known but very interesting. The whole atmosphere of "old friends" and so familiar to make you feel at ease and at peace. If you change to Sciacca or surroundings for a few days you have to make a leap from Alessandro

Looking for all things "new and different" visited this Museum and attended the workshop to make directly the SOAP. We had fun like children and proudly we go home with our products. The owner of the Museum (Alexander) is an enthusiast who made us cross the Mediterranean with the history of SOAP and we had a great time with him. We then took this opportunity to buy soaps and creams for the entire family.

  • Not the easiest places to find, but well worth the d-tour. The host gave us a fascinating tour to the history of soap. We'll never look soap the same way again!
  • For the passion that Alexander manages to convey during the visit and to discover a world that I didn't know existed.

  • Exciting Alexander manages to convey her passion and preparation in the field. To know that one of the SOAP in the world museums 6 suggests that with good will you can do a lot. Has good plans for the future and if it was supported by a good investor would have excellent results.

  • Place lost in the Olivier to the end bottom of the Sicilian province. Museum very simple but very passionate and exciting guide who will explain the origin of the SOAP and will give you the possibility to make. Guide who happens to explain very well in french, sells oil and SOAP from its own production. Museum to recommend.
