  • Beautiful manor, groomed and well preserved. Large rooms with decorated ceilings and frescos, and in the courtyard, a characteristic Tavern. TO VISIT.

  • Medieval fortress transformed from the family home in 1500 in sumptuous Boyar, lies at the Centre of Sandiano, in the province of Reggio Emilia. It is a building of great historical and cultural value, well preserved, with corner towers and a moat. In his spacious yard are held all year round, in summer especially, concerts and other events involving as theatrical improvisations or tasting of young wines. Worth a visit but would be valued more: the Interior is open every day but only a few time slots and still visit, interesting, it is limited to a few salons.

  • This Rock is nice on all four sides. On the north side that promises on Boyar square is the main entrance to the medieval-looking. On the East side, which promises on via Matteotti view dilapidated walls that give an idea (sad) of days gone by. On the South side that promises on viale della Rocca view the long and beautiful Renaissance façade. On the West side, which looks onto via Garibaldi is dominated by the impressive Tower.

  • Imposing symbol of the city that with its mass dominates Scandiano. Exhibits, shows and a bar. Unfortunately not always open, but worth a visit if only from the outside. Soon to be restored and usable indoor gardens.
