Vialattea, Sauze d'Oulx

Categories: Ski Areas, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
3.5/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Home to many events of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, Vialattea straddles the French-Italian border and spans five distinct resorts. Take your choice of 88 lifts to ski the 400 km (250 mi) of trails. You will find areas for all levels, though each resort has a different selection. Claviere is most suited to the intermediate skier, while Sestriere has some longer black runs and provides more options for the advanced. Montgenèvre is probably the best for beginners, though you can check out the resorts online to find which suits you best. Take the free buses that connect the resorts: often the lift connections are slower. Put Vialattea on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Sauze d'Oulx family vacation planner.

  • Sadly I have to say I still have to learn a lot, winter services go pretty well, summer is a disaster, a few open lifts, Lee even talking about it, economic accessibility to ski in the winter for those who do not ski very insufficient and care

  • MANY YEARS HAVE PASSED BUT I DON'T SEE THE REVIVAL OF THE SKIING AREA. The ski area is very large with excellent and with varying degrees of difficulty, therefore suitable for everyone. Ski pass very roundabout though accessible on price. as the signage slopes a little dated. Then the abandonment of works from the sauze-Gran villar was insane. Continuing to go there, I hope for a better future

  • One of the best ski where I've skied! A few kilometres from Turin, the milky way in my opinion is able to offer sports, entertainment and good food!
