  • I have never been here in ski season, so I can't say anything about winter sports, but the hiking trail that goes from the top of the lift to the Getrumalm restaurant and then continues down into a va...  more »
  • Now the ski season is over but I suggest for next winter the Reinswald ski area in Sarntal in half an hour's drive or so from Bolzano. Here is the big blue skyscraper Patrick Thaler, here there are slopes for skiers of all ages and levels. Prices are cheap and convenient: it is not mandatory to buy, but you can buy daily tickets for only two or three hours, then stop for lunch and return to the Valley or in the city. Two steps away from the mountain station of the cable car has been updated on Pichlberg, a restaurant-bistro with wooden structures that fit perfectly in the local tradition. Excellent service in the restaurant with tables outside on the terrace or "self service" inside near modern 4-passenger chair lift and the ski lift twice.

  • We saw it last summer as an enormous shipyard and curiosity to see the final result he pushed us to rise even if we are not fond of skiing. Today we went and the view was beautiful from the Dolomites to the Ortles-Cevedale group, Tessa at Breonie. Don't describe it better because it is right you go to taste them for yourself. The complex is situated is very interesting and even large does not bother to use well combined of stone masonry, wood and glass but also for the form that repeats a little classic two buildings (residential and agricultural) of the great masi sarentinesi. Even the Interior does look and surprises for the many architectural solutions daughters of a conscious approach to many aspects, acoustics, light wood color combination that at first glance seem random. A good all-round studying Kienzl. A few additional notes for cooking, in perfect keeping with tradition both in terms of quantity and quality, and for service: fast and friendly staff. The price we are all considering that we at 2100 metres and all matters must be brought up to there. I would venture a suggestion: why not try to propose some more elaborate dish, maybe with smaller portions and always using local products? Although I understand that the users are that hit and run by skiers, but maybe this summer ... think about it. Good luck with your work.
