  • We followed the easiest route to the Canyon from the car park and enjoyed the walk in. The canyon itself is spectacular and we enjoyed exploring. We did keep looking nervously upwards though as the cl...  more »
  • Inserted into a team Working path I attended a trek with a group of work colleagues, with half the gola di Gorropu. Breathtaking scenery, path well marked with difficulty only linked to the presence of ascents/descents but approachable without major problems. The Council is to start equipped with hiking shoes and appropriate clothing (starting from the side of Dorgali there are long stretches in the Sun), so I recommend having the location not very sunny days. Bring water in tow even if along the way there are several sources of drinking water. Upon arriving at her throat we could admire the beauty of nature and the surrounding landscape. I absolutely recommend to have this experience, well worth the trip

  • Must visit in Sardegna. Just prepare good boots for walking down!
  • Brilliant - the canyon is worth every bead of sweat and every aching muscle. Awesome beauty on an island that has so many, unspoilt natural wonders. Gorropu was recommended by a local, and it was the icing on the cake of our trip. After 15 days of beaches, each more spectacular than the last, this inland break, trekking downhill to a pretty much undiscovered paradise, was great. The wardens are really informative.
  • I visited this canyon in July. The trail was a little challenging, some points are quite steep and despite the heat, it was worth it. The landscape is impressive and shows that the beauty of Sardinia lies not only in its coasts, but also in the Interior.

  • The canyon is absolutely magnificent. To see and follow with admiration and transport. Although a bit overpriced I find useful jeep transfers, played with courtesy and professionalism. I find it irritating the entrance ticket. Although only 5 euros that sounds like classic excuse to shell out money to tourists, since it is not a guided tour and the Hudson canyon-thank goodness-everything is very natural (without gangways and the like that would spoil the experience).

  • Three levels of difficulty of the route inside the Gorge. After you can exit without charges and without a guide. Quite easy to lose the trail.
