  • I happened upon this place quite by accident, on the route from Calascio downstream port towards L'Aquila, and I was enchanted. Alleys, arcades, strings ... Burg, workshops antique flavour that also sell wool as in the thirteenth century. A silence broken by random encounter with the "Fellowship of the goose", calling on the occasion of the nearby all Saints holidays, that cheering tourists through the narrow streets, with music and songs of the middle ages. A real blast from the past. The wounds of the earthquake of 2009 are visible but the stubbornness of the few remaining inhabitants and their willingness to revive the village cannot leave indifferent; This is also why Boxing is well worth a visit!
