Cala Spinosa, Santa Teresa Gallura

4.9
#2 of 13 in Things to do in Santa Teresa Gallura
Landmark Tourist Spot
Sheltered by high cliffs and rounded granite masses that plunge abruptly into the sea, Cala Spinosa serves as a haven for scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing. This small beach covered with light-colored sand and set within a sweeping bay is not easily accessible, however. You'll need to follow a steep slope to get there, so wear shoes instead of flip-flops. Bring your own sun umbrella if you require one. A restaurant and lounge that dominates the beach offers various kinds of refreshment. • This beach is a little gem! You need to navigate yourself through the bushes and rocks but it's well worth it. It's a popular beach and is very small unless you lie on the rocks, so with that in mind ...  more »

  • Best beach we visit on island. It was July and it was crowded but worthy.
  • By far my favorite beach. The trail is located at the side of the spectacular bar Sea Longe, steep, to be faced with some attention, but short. Once at the bottom, there is a beach and going to the right, before the rocks and then a very small beach ... ... which is a real show. In fact ... being piccola......ci can be only a few people and get there first to enjoy a gorgeous private beach. Worth waking up early.

  • Great locale. You can descend from a small path that is immediately on the right as you take the small road leading to the local Sea Lounge. Find parking on the street is not easy, almost impossible in high season. The descent to the beach is difficult but not impossible and not dangerous (careful not to slip), but once we got down we understand that it's worth it. Beautiful sea, little Beach and several rocks. You can do some sightseeing wishing along the rocks. Advice to take the shoes, and wanting to mask and snorkel.

  • Through a path I'd impervio...si reaches this small beach with fine golden sand. The landscape is really nice but the sea.

  • Beautiful sea, small beach can be reached with a little difficulty. Always busy with fix for parking if travelling by car but it deserves for the landscape and the sea. Highly recommended! Can use the stones as a place to store our beach towels also because the sea is an invitation cost for its beauty! Got you would not move!
