  • In the village square, also known as camp residents, on the opposite side of the Norman castle is the Cathedral dedicated to Saint Anastasia. As he explained to an inhabitant of Santa severina, the town was the seat of the diocese (now combined with that of Crotone), and was well represented by this no small Cathedral, to be a small village perched which now has approximately 3,000 inhabitants. The Church has a Latin cross with three naves. Nice wooden coffered ceiling. There is also a painting of the 13th century on the left side. Annexed is the baptistery, Byzantine, alas perusal but important evidence of past glory. The visit to the Cathedral and baptistery Crown the highly recommended visit to this beautiful village.
