  • It's wonderful to visit a museum devoted to one's own profession. They did a great job showing the history of the chimney sweep life.  more »
  • It is the only Museum of chimney sweeps in Europe. Here in the Vigezzo Valley, almost all the men were chimney sweep, which partially migrated to Europe from 1300 until the 1940s. Towards the end, too many little boys as chimney sweeps were rented. The Black Brothers, the Spazzacamino... On a little tour, one learns the story in a very impressive way, hear the scratching in the chimneys over headphones and hears the sad songs sung by children, which tell how the boy far away from home, in cold winters, dirty, dusty without right meals, day in day out for their Padroni go into the fireplaces in Milan and elsewhere and had to clean them... We have seen rarely impressive Museum visit and Yes, child labour not so long is here with us... Hingehen recommendation.

  • A nice idea created in a town that welcomes the international gathering of chimney sweep. Pictures on the walls, guided and headphones with noise do understand what lived a century ago workers in the sector. Deserves it!

  • This museum is dedicated to the chimney sweepes: for ages (XVI-XX) the valley has provided young teenagers for this job in the metropolitan areas. And for some families was the only income available. The yearly event in August attracts sweepers from all over the world. The miseum in itself unfortunately is a bit poor in terms of evidences. It should be enriched and enlarged. But it deservs a visit.
  • Small but nice Museum full of objects that testify to a page of history of pride and sadness, upstairs a beautiful media path with "sounds" of chimney sweeps.
