  • The amphitheatre Campano is the amphitheatre teatro of the exploits of Spartacus. This would be enough to make it a real treat for lovers of history. Furthermore this Amphitheater is the second largest (the first being the Colosseum of Rome). That being said I think it might be valued and advertised better (in the same region, many do not know him), and you may enter this site into a cultural tour together and is very beautiful Royal Palace of Caserta (10 ' by 15 ' train or by car) and San Leucio. for now with the entrance ticket of the amphitheatre Campano you can visit the small but interesting Museum of the Gladiators (located inside the Amphitheater) and the National Archaeological Museum (10 ' walk from the amphitheatre) and one of the very few examples of mitreo (Per il mitreo have to ask and be accompanied by a staff member of the Archaeological Museum). At the entrance of a small book shop with souvenirs. Time it takes to visit the amphitheatre Campano less per hour.

  • I'm sorry to emphasize the negatives but I assure you that this treasure of our past should be enhanced as you can with ad hoc paths explained clearly by means of billboards and/or guides. Even the printed guide is sufficient to explain its features. Anyway is spectacular and well worth a visit ...

  • If I think only the Coliseum surpasses him in size and that Spartan walked in here ... spectacular
