  • A few kilometres from Oristano, in the village of the same name. The 12th century Church, built by local craftsmen and Pisa. Cross: tripartite façade (analogies with the Cathedral of Pisa). Hello the crypt with columns and capitals of carryover from Roman settlements

  • A short walk from Oristano there is a temple erected as a symbol of Christianity and the martyrdom of three women. the wide staircase brings you into the presence of these high walls hewn from large blocks of stone between these walls flows the Christian sacred history, the citizens of Santa Giusta the affectionately refer to only "Sa Cresia" "the Church", but this building is so much more, in fact, stone-cutters and sculptors knew how to get the political representative of the clients needs both secular performers that Church. The look before crossing the entrance immediately goes to the lintel where in bas-relief there are two lions, one on the right with the left front, while the lioness head, has the head in profile and shows fangs into the jaws open. These two lions can give different readings and iconological interpretations, from the guardians of the entrance to the sacred place, indeed the lion has a dual purpose as it is a symbol both of Christ admonishes the faithful to abandon that Lucifer and evil before it enters the holy place of God. Built in Romanesque style, between 1130 and 1145, on behalf of the judges of Arborea with the use of workers Pisa, Lombardy and arabe. The basalt and sandstone are the main elements that make it up, but there were also used materials that were found in Sardinia from ancient temples and ruined city. This great Basilica is also a sepulchral monument that houses three women Christianized and martyred in the name of religion and belief. Justa, Justina and Enedina, is buried in their large crypt, venerated and invoked by the populations living in these places. I find it just a bit gruesome exposure in plain sight of human bones, contained in large cabinets. I still recommend to visit this place, full of energy and cultural and historical wealth.

  • Beautiful Romanesque church built by workers Pisa during the middle ages. The Interior has two rows of columns with capitals of different invoice. The columns are bare material of the ancient cities of Othoca, in what is now Santa Giusta, and Tharros. From within the access to the crypt, which is also decorated with columns, where the relics of Saints Justa, Justina and Enedina. A monument for those who are in transit, which is worth stopping by and visiting.
