  • The Cathedral of Santa Giusta, Saint martyr at the time of Diocletian, is located in the northern part of the country, on top of a wide staircase, and its construction dates from the 12th century. It is constructed almost entirely from sandstone and is in Romanesque style. Inside you can see that each column is different from the others. In the crypt lie the remains of the 3 martyrs: Justa, Justina and Enedina. The statue of the Saint, located on the left of the altar.

  • A small climb leads to the Cathedral of Santa Giusta that behind a simple Romanesque façade contains a bright Interior. A surprise.

  • In the town of Santa Giusta is one of the largest Romanesque churches in Sardinia, the Basilica of Santa Giusta. The Cathedral was built between 1135 and 1145. Basically shapes of Pisa, you notice the similarities with the Cathedral of Pisa. A real treat discovered by chance.
