  • .. the view must be booked online or by calling the number that appears on the website of the bunker.il parking lot is near the entrance, yet don't expect what's on the interno.il bunker is a long corridor that connects various great rooms and very professional guides describe the history of bunkers used in World War II by the Nazis. Then continuing the tour guides take you in fallout bunker built during the cold war years! very interesting ... even my 8 year old daughter liked it, I highly recommend it!

  • Live in twenty minutes, I heard but I decided to book a visit. Mistaken I had the opinion that it was a revival at the hands of a group of nostalgic. None of this. Cultural group Yes but great history buffs, motivated and rigorous. The network of underground tunnels, in the belly of the monte Soratte, built by Benito Mussolini in 1937 and finally abandoned by the army in 1972, is a work of high engineering designed to make good, in case of air attack, Government and military. Served in fact to only ten months to the Supreme command of the SS, among 8 September 43 and the following June, was the headquarters of field marshal Kesserling during the Nazi occupation. Abandoned after the end of World War II, over twenty years later was designated a bomb shelter for head of State and Ministers in Office. Fortunately never used. The tour, lasting almost two hours, through the most significant points that marked the different stages and is conducted by an informed and effective teaching assistant. In our case the great William. Recommend comfortable shoes, dress suitable for a temperature about 12/13 degrees centigrade.

  • William, our guide, with passion and expertise made the visit a unique experience. Visit a place like causes especially to consider the futility of war and that peace be an asset to pass on to future generations. The memory of the ugliness of war should always be a warning. The Association is really doing an amazing job.

  • An interesting place to visit for those interested in history since the second world war until the end of the cold war. The visit is made even more fascinating by the story of the great guides that accompany the visitor not only discover secret places, but also stories, anecdotes, facts and myths that alone would deserve a book, which actually was published by the Association.

  • A bunker interesting where the World War II and the cold war are mixed in a single underground superfortezza able to defy the passage of time. Particularly important is the first week of may where to mark the anniversary of the bombing is staged a reenactment with people in uniforms, weapons and vehicles. The whole thing is then accompanied by a show plane.
