  • For some time I wanted to know the last master of fine linen and yesterday I finally made this wish. I spent from Sant'Antioco and I decided to try Chiara Vigo without much hope since I read in the paper that the Museum the fine had been closed. I will not dwell on the disgust tried against Admins so foolish and inattentive! Explain to me how you can close a museum which houses an art so ancient and only if thousands of scholars and artists arrive in Sant'Antioco halfway across the world just to see this wonder? Crazy!! Clare is a woman intriguing, enjoyable, strong, charismatic. One, even as the art which houses! Our children were "kidnapped" by ways of making of "Auntie Clare" (as he calls himself) and showed them all the procedure necessary to switch between coarse and fine gold wire skein! He gave them the piece of yarn obtained by saying that if they had shown him before her marriage she would have given them the cushion for wedding rings made by herself with the fine. Because the fine is not for sale and do not buy. He gives himself. Maybe that's what bothers me: the fact that the master is either unwilling to make his art (passed and signed with the sacred ritual of water) a mere commercial activity. Long life to you Master so that your knowledge can be passed down forever. And thanks for your time to dedicate. Hope to see you again soon!

  • You can't go in Sant'Antioco and not go by Mrs. Vigo. Is a wonderful person, only the depository of knowledge and tradition of spinning of fine linen. Her story is fascinating, among mythology, mysticism blended into our everyday reality. His Museum the municipality has improperly closed and she has adapted tentatively in some Club with the purpose of opening a real Museum in all respects.

  • I was by his teacher Clare Vigo a few days ago, since I "tesso" something, namely the tombolo. I was very touched by the love and tenacity with which Clare talks about Bakshi, the sea silk. Has proven to be very helpful and you are not spared in the explanations to the questions that were asked. I will repeat that experience very enriching and that as soon as I return to Sant'Antioco. Recommended to all, men and women.

  • It was an important experience, enter the Museum the fine gives you the possibility to meet the master Clear Vigo which handed down an ancient art. We had a chance to hear his story and see the transformation in the precious golden thread of the sea. For everyone, young and old. Pure magic to hear recite the oath of master ...

  • And the fine not working anymore because it is forbidden the collection. At the Museum there is the last teacher that she inherited from her grandmother the fine and the tour is very informative and interesting.
