  • It is an ancient Abbey, still working, where the main church was destroyed by an earthquake in 1980 and has not been rebuilt, in order to witness the event but without the ceiling creates a special atmosphere. Admission is free, just don't make too much noise so as not to disturb the men living in the convent. Survived the cloisters, the old Tower, maybe Norman, the Chapel while the main body of the Church was secured concerning sidewalls but lacks the ceiling. Ideal for taking memorable photos.

  • Certainly worth a visit to dive into the social and religious history of Irpinia. Little remains of the former glory but the recent restoration from an idea of the importance of the complex.

  • Definitely evocative place, outside the village of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, used also to the Hermitage for travelers. For those who love culture and religious destinations is a place not to be missed.

  • A place of extraordinary beauty. Very well maintained and able to convey tranquility and excitement. Outside, after the visit in all its facets, you can enjoy a coffee at the bar in front.

  • Ancient Abbey founded by St. William. Has the ruins of a church very suggestive. Is now home to a monastic community
