  • Take the time to explore and enjoy the beautiful park and mountains...The views are unbelievable and it is not crowded at all. The people are lovely and you can really explore the area.
  • The Park offers walking trails and fantastic scenery unfortunately very little valued and exploited by the tourist point of view! Too bad

  • Walked away a bit from the summer heat and found shelter in the mountains of the Matese regional Park. A charming place maybe still too little valued, even though the charm of the mountain and a place unspoilt by mass tourism makes it unique. We visited all the villages between Fontegreca and Lake Matese, the latter was the final leg of our trip. We still have much to see and we will be back, but we recommend to all and all to take a ride around here to see with your own eyes how many thing has to offer our land and our South.

  • Awesome experience of nature with beautiful vegetation and lively river. Walking along the river bank gives utmost challenges for nature lovers to adapt with the creations. Crossing the river along the slippery base makes it more challenging
  • For all the people travelling through Italy I highly recommend this place. I live at 40 min of car (even less) from this place. And I'm so mad at myself that haven't discovered this place before
  • I had occasion to revisit the parco del Matese after almost 15 years since the last time the State of neglect and poor care besides being noticeable is annoying for any nature lover. The piles of garbage spread everywhere and walking in the woods nearby is not absolutely rare find beer cans and plastic bags in every nook and cranny In two days of walking I never met the Ranger, but at least I got to see numerous tour groups who throw leftover food and litter everywhere. The structures surrounding the Lake are costly and oversized on a receptive human, both the poor quality of the services offered. a real shame.

  • There are magical places and all kinds of entertainment. And always clean and there is nice people. In summer it is a great area for picnics and walks. The Lake the scenery is lovely and the horse deserves to be done!

  • Is not tapped, the picnic areas there are very few and badly reduced, and there are few indications. The number that is on the internet of the info point no one ever answers! Could be a beauty and a virtue Bell, because the scenery is fantastic ... but as usual things let themselves die!
