  • Nice and quiet visit for half a day! In the surroundings there are also other beautiful medieval castles to visit. Is a little guy with so much history behind it, that has never been used militarily. Tickets cost 8 euros. The guides are great.

  • A wealthy patron Pang has recreated in this beautiful Castle once life with touches of modernity and sophistication. The castle is beautifully restored and retains the original frescoes, in the attic is an exhibition of contemporary local artists. In the basement there are copies of statues of the famous terracotta army of China. To visit a sympathetic and educated guide.

  • This castle is located halfway between Piacenza and Cremona, in the homonymous village of Cerro. Construction began at the end of 1400 by the owners, Grafters who lived as a country residence for almost 500 years. Now belongs to a local entrepreneur who keeps him in good condition thanks to the proceeds from the rental of beautiful wedding venues. Has double quadrangular courtyard surrounded by lodges. Front edges are embellished by two cylindrical towers, the entrance is protected by a tower called "keep". Originally it was circondatro by a moat and drawbridge, now there's a nice Park. To get there walk along a tree-lined street data autumnal colours is particularly impressive. The interiors which cannot be photographed, they are frescoed coffered ceilings and fine furnishings. In the attic, the current proprietaruio I created the MIM (Museum of motion) that hosts modern paintings and sculptures of artists especially piacentini. The most amazing surprise is in the Dungeon defended by Xi'An mysterious warriors in a dark room with cleverly lit Chinese floor covered in sand, very impressive! If you don't want to go, you can stay overnight at the "Locanda del Warrior King" by reservation and enjoy hiking, biking or horseback riding. It's a nice place, well worth the 7 euro entrance ... go for it! ... I forgot ... like any self-respecting Castle is "inhabited" by a ghost ... good, say!!!
