  • One of the attractions of the small San Miniato, a pity that the door to the tower were closed, went there with the desire to climb to the top. Great views of Tuscany, those who wandered into these lands, I advise to visit

  • It features but too many shrubs that lead up to the 360° view of preventing you from Fortress. Greater care and pruning would make the breathtaking place.

  • The Tower of Emperor Frederick II, though unfortunately mostly rebuilt on its rubble, is the symbol of San Miniato. Stands on the top of the Hill and is visible from all the plain of the Arno River and the surrounding hills. It is locally called the "finger" since this seems like an index finger skyward. Get to the meadow is a nice walk uphill, but enjoyable. Climb to the top of the Tower, for those who make it a nice experience to enjoy a 360° panorama.
