  • The Museum of culture and costumes of the Trentino people is located in San Michele and the province of Trento, as well as important ethnographic museum. Therefore, the Museum is explicitly within the old walls of the monastery of San Michele. The Museum was founded in 1968 by the Ethnologist Giuseppe Šebesta, Trentino Bohemian. Since then and until today, it is considered one of the most important museums of the cultures and traditions in Italy and in particular one of the largest in the Alps of in South Tyrol. The Museum is divided into four floors and 41 exhibition halls which are divided into special topics and include 20 different sections. Some of the topics addressed in this exhibition also very in favor of the craft, wood, metal or textile fibres as well as also including the livestock, pastures, hunting agriculture or the religious how also popular tradition talk! The Museum has more than 12,000 exhibits. In a Hall for example the South Tyrol were rebuilt mill as well as the corresponding forge! Here, the Museum shows also all the artisanal work of the South Tyrolean population. Wood, iron, copper, ceramic materials, to the testimonies of the religion, music and folklore. the Museum offers educational activities! You have to see just that, to understand it!

  • Interesting Museum, very articulate. Staff to give you information. É local and mountain culture that should not be missed! Only drawback the place where it is located is a little desert ... If you take a ride in the country before entering you don't find anyone, not even a bar for a coffee.

Michele all'Adige, excellent attention to agro-silvo-pastoral culture of the people of Trentino, through exposure to everyday objects and tools, with which the centuries almost to the present day the people of these valleys is contrived and industriata
