  • Very addictive and moving visit to the birthplace of the poet, although only the kitchen remained intact, only some of the furnishings are original and the bombing of the war has brought great harm and changes. The atmosphere is pretty preserved and is interesting to look at your documents, photos and newspaper articles of the rich documentary material. Guided visits are carried out in the period of greatest influx of tourists but the gentleman who checked us ticket, very helpful, has been generous with explanations. For those who know a bit of the poetry of pastures is a visit to do.

  • 10/28/2016 I'd been to visit this House-Museum again in the 1960s, with my parents, during the summer holidays in Cervia. Remember only the kitchen ... This time, his head covered by ripe old gray head, I went with a good friend, classmate from high school. We were lucky enough to meet a keeper/guide very passionate about their work and highly arranged, which kept us supplied long room by room, making us partakers of several news that we ignored, anecdotes and curiosities. The original furniture of the House remained very little, so much so that the "firm" Office furniture that actually preserves the Pastures had at the University of Bologna. However what little they still kept on site, together with the documentary material exposed (some rooms house temporary exhibitions), is more than enough to evoke distant times and characters. Some special moves, as the manuscript of "Romagna" or the sketches, sometimes even caricatured, plotted by the poet. Rich in character, the garden; many plants have nearby a plaque containing the verses that mention. In short, a blast from the past, made alive and present. Stocked bookshop, where I-alas-deposited several counterfeit bills in Exchange for books without which my life would lose all meaning. For my Italian teacher in high school, still alive, devoted to studies and lecturer of money, I purchased the exhibition catalogue "Pastures in love" (indeed I have not yet made a copy for my library ...). We exited the fermi Museum in regard to dedicate ourselves with fervor to the study of the life and works of our: I wonder if we can live up to its commitment ...

  • Very nice place and steeped in history, so pretty much the garden with various plants typical of the area. I also liked a lot of the guided tour.
