  • Place with a lot of history as background, nice the climb up to the tower and at the end a great views of all Garda !!! If the weather is good is fantastic and worth to go up at the top.
  • I visited San Martin with its complex of Museum and ossuary and Tower. With only 5 euro visit everything. Sunny autumn which stood out the beauty of the countryside around. The Tower, well maintained, beautiful, impressive and within non-strenuous climbs with ramps to the Summit. A great view at 360 degrees. Inside, murals, relics and artifacts from the war. All very interesting. Not to be missed.

  • The Tower of San Martino today lives in the shadow of the notoriety of the amusement park of the Garda but out of respect, should be seen first saw that has existed for many years prior to Gardaland and all other modern tourist attractions. Is higher than the Tower of Pisa and was raised, on several occasions, in memory of the thousands of dead who fell in the battle of San Martino and Solferino. An epic battle and tremendous fought by poor soldiers only to defend their homeland and Italy combined. From so much heartache and many deaths and especially the wounded Red Cross was born. The internal path of the tower is not difficult, there are no steps only gently sloping ramps na. On each floor there is a small museum which also allows you to take a rest. Patriotic background music will make your skin crawl. Multimedia documentaries will you know more. On top, the visibility of the Lake and the hinterland and superb. Recommend you go there with a good day of full visibility. Don't forget to also see the Museum not far to which access is included in the ticket from the very fair price of a few euros. Beware before the media screening room documentary in order to bring out your high school memories and enjoying everything else on display in the Museum. Behind the latter, tucked away from view, there is a green area with picnic tables and restrooms. The guardian, in an enclosure, breeding small farm animals sure attraction for children and adults. Greetings to all ... Long live Italy.

  • Nothing special
  • Historical place in Italian history. Where war fought for independence seeing collide the Austrian army with the Franco-Sardinian. Ossuary and tour. Nice to visit the tower. If good weather you can see much of the lago di Garda sud. Easily accessible and with a restaurant next door. A good picnic. Also, about 10 minutes by car, the town of Silferino, closely related to San Marino the battle for history.

  • If you are in the area place not to be missed. 74 meters high (and scale😥) but it's worth it all. Beautiful interior. History of the battle (told in the frescos) very interesting.
