  • A few steps from the Duomo, essential and evocative. Place of worship of the past in the beautiful village of San Leo

  • Unfortunately, bad day, with fog and rain. We missed the views undoubtedly beautiful, but the atmosphere of that Cathedral that identify nearly just, for few! Inside is impressive and intimidating. The crypt, with the Saint's relics, enhances the atmosphere. Worth the journey through all the hills in the area, that the Sun must be beautiful.

  • Truly a gem, San Leo you can be charmed by when you when you go out from the city. But I have to say that the Cathedral in particular is much grander and stands out much more outside and inside (where instead it is bare except for a few paintings or sacred object). Very devalued especially the tourist part of this structure (entered the crypt there was getting into either a mini box explaining the burials in the ground or the life of St. Leo)

  • We visited San Leo this summer. Entered the Cathedral we didn't realise at the entrance there was a wrap. Let me start by saying that I was wearing a long dress to bare shoulders. We visited the Interior, there was no mass nor a person. Right off we were stopped by a lady with the badge. Annoyed told us there were jackets. At this point not considering myself dressed in a manner unbecoming, I told her that we were out and I asked her what was wrong with me. His words were "if I come to your House should I follow your rules, this is my home and follow my". The speech that followed was this: "this is your House?" Female "clean it and so is my home" husband "I thought it was the House of God and our" husband "at the time you received not even the pestilent in church and now? Women "go away or I'm calling the police" at that point we left disappointed from San Leo and even more disappointed by the Catholic Church
