  • A stunning architecture, in the golden light of sunset sandstone ochre turns into a treasure chest sacred and beautiful. Masterpiece of Romanesque style, with typical characteristics of Lombard architecture intermixed with that of Burgundian ancestry. Rich in Roman finds-spolia-reused in medieval structure. Not to be missed.

  • A place of a palpable energy, founded on the rock of the old Montefeltro. Fascinating layered architectures that enhance the spirituality and beauty.

  • between the two churches of san leo this in my opinion is a little less spectacular but very nice inside ... always ... to visit Romanesque

  • The exterior of the Cathedral is beautiful and well maintained and the Interior resembles the set of a movie with a dark but is very charming for this appearance! The crypt houses a shrine and relics of San Leone.

  • Definitely worth visiting if you are in San Leo. Imposing structure.

  • We visited San Leo this summer. Entered the Cathedral we didn't realise at the entrance there was a wrap. Let me start by saying that I was wearing a long dress to bare shoulders. We visited the Interior, there was no mass nor a person. Right off we were stopped by a lady with the badge. Annoyed told us there were jackets. At this point not considering myself dressed in a manner unbecoming, I told her that we were out and I asked her what was wrong with me. His words were "if I come to your House should I follow your rules, this is my home and follow my". The speech that followed was this: "this is your House?" Female "clean it and so is my home" husband "I thought it was the House of God and our" husband "at the time you received not even the pestilent in church and now? Women "go away or I'm calling the police" at that point we left disappointed from San Leo and even more disappointed by the Catholic Church
