  • A small museum but treated with competence and dedication. It doesn't pretend to show "everything", but to introduce the visitor to the prehistory of the region (and beyond). The exhibits are very interesting, and, in addition, the exhibition includes models, environmental reconstructions and everything that can excite the great and the kids. Staff attentive and helpful. Excellent guided tours. Absolutely recommendable to all.

  • We visited this morning even this small museum very well designed. only 2 large rooms were open, but there are numerous prehistoric era reproductions, of animals like the scenes of daily life. our 4 children and 7 years have enjoyed the small cave exploring with a flashlight, loaned by the Museum, as well as the statues of animals very realistic. .. I recommend it for 1 hour of family visit!

  • The museum itself has a lot to offer but the commitment and the various reproductions make it really interesting. Teaching and explanations are far more famous museums

  • Went to see the museum just as two school trips arrived. Whilst not very set up for English visitors the lady working there was fantastic. She did her very best to explain everything in her very best English. The displays are based on local findings and are very interesting. Well worth a visit, made all the better by the wonderful staff.
  • Very cute especially for youngsters. The mammoth at the entrance now is symbolic. :) Years ago they had organised an exhibition with dinosaurs on the outside, really beautiful, too bad they don't anymore.
