The Church originated in the 11th century, in place of a chapel paleocristiana which according to tradition was dedicated to San Ginesio. The complex was modified and restored over the centuries. Beautiful façade with the lower half in Romanesque style and superior in rayonnant. Inside of this church are beautiful chapels and a crypt dedicated to Saint Biagio. According to scholars, under this church are the remains of Pepin the short and his wife Berta.
