  • Well worth the trip out to see some of the medieval buildings and towers. The tower itself is a fairly easy walk up steps although the ladder at the top to get outside was a bit tricky with smaller ch...  more »
  • Low prices for very large view! Not much to see inside but at the top the view of the splendid Tuscan region is worth a visit. It's may be the only place where you can admire the magnificent view of this area if such a way beautiful.

  • Beautiful city! Has 52 towers! Of witch I saw 12 maybe
  • Incredible 360° views of the city and countryside. Worth the ticket price and provides unique glimpse into these early medieval tower dwellings of the rich. Some well preserved art on the lower floors including two Filippino Lippi paintings
  • Beautiful panorama from there. Pricey but worth the climb
  • If you had enough time to do one thing only in San Gimignano then climbing the Torre Grossa is it. It's the tallest of the historic towns towers and offers panoramic views of not just the town but the hills around it.
  • Great views of the surrounding area at a reasonable price to go up the tower!
