  • We had an amazing time here. Our cooking class was so much fun. We were made to feel very welcome and treated to a very special day. Our six weeks in Europe was wonderful but this was the highlight. DO not miss going here.
  • First and foremost, we did not have a reservation and got incredibly lucky to been able to stay two night in such an amazing place. They we extremely accomidating and pleasent. We had been on what felt like a running pace, to start our two week vacation to Italy. Four days in this was what we needed, to hit the reset and just relax. San Gimignano was wonderful, especially after 5 pm, most folks are heading away and we were just down the hill. Fausto was awesome and his distance to town is close. About a mile (only issue in 95 degree heat up hill it was a bit longer than anticipated). I think in the fall or spring it would be a prefect before and after dinner walk, but the heat of a Tuscan summer, not so much. Wine tour was wonderful and informative, most importantly delicious. Lunch was perfect. Only regret I was not able to do the cooking class but there needs to be a reason to come back, right? If you dream of Tuscany in the summer looking out over the vineyard on a quite night this is the place. Simply amazing.
  • We have stayed at Guardastelle several times in the past and love the place. I booked to return two years ago but had to cancel because my wife was diagnosed with a serious illness. She is now on the road to recovery so we retuned this year in May. Our stay has been an important step in that journey. We were warmly greeted by Fausto and Sussana who made sure everything was to our liking. Thank you both and the staff for making our stay so delightful. Guardestelle will always have a special place in our affections. We highly recommend a holiday there.
  • We had such a phenomenal stay here....Laurie and I were so pleased with this wonderful introduction to Tuscany. We still say this was one of our most memorable experiences of our week s tour in Tuscany. Fausto, Suzanna,Barbara and Alisa work hard at making this special place gel..and it does!! We would also recommend the cooking class and wine tour. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated...the grounds magnificent and the view of the old walled city of SG about 3 quarters of a mile(walkable from Guardastelle) is spectacular. And the breakfasts added to the pleasure!! Tom , Jenkintown , PA
  • Lovely vineyard a short and beautiful walk from San Gimingano. Need to book wine tasting (for free through the wine museum in San Gimingano).
