  • beautiful medieval village, strong :) well preserved. Certainly tourism and so busy in this month of July but it worth it. Located up a Hill it dominates the Tuscan landscape. Don't miss the model (it's free) because it allows to get high if we gave up in the tower... :) summer, prefer the beginning or end of the day to take advantage of the horizon.

  • It is a very beautiful and well preserved medieval town. I recommend to go through when do any path for the Tuscan. The highest Tower of the village has spectacular views!

  • Quaint little medieval town with dozens of towers. We went with a tour of Siena and stopped here for some sight seeing. Lots of leather shops and a torture museum. Enjoyed every minute.
  • A single room containing a physical model of how the city buildings might have looked in ~1300. Free entry. Donation requested, but entirely optional.
  • Miniatur of san gimignano, u can see the whole of san gimignano
  • Oft compared to Minas Tirith, SG is a lovely city of towers - many of which were knocked down during the conflict with Mordor.
  • Don't miss the beautiful city models when you visit the city!
