  • On a sunny but chilly day in San Gimignano four family members had reserved a cooking class and vineyard tour. The pasta we made probably could have been improved upon in technique but it was deliciou...  more »
  • We were in September/2017 at this Winery for a tour and lunch with wine tasting. Beautiful place, nice view and good tour. Fine wines and delicious food! The ribollita is unforgettable!

  • One of the worst experiences I have had in over 35 years of traveling overseas. We visited Tuscany and decided to go to this winery along with 3 others. We started with this one and would not have ord...  more »

  • My family and I visited Guardastelle for a day trip in June 2017. We were greeted by a kind and welcoming staff. The views of the countryside and vineyards are beautiful and serene. We enjoyed a delicious meal paired with both their wonderful red and white wines. A thoroughly enjoyable visit that we hope to have again when in Italy. We enjoyed it so much that we placed an order for a case of their wines to be delivered to our home in San Diego, CA. The box arrived 4 weeks later in perfect condition just as Guardastelle promised. Recently, I placed another order and just like before, the wine arrived as promised in perfect condition. We are happy to experience their wines in our home and relive a little piece of that wonderful experience.
  • The wine tour was more than we expected. We expected to have some wine tastings and maybe a small snack. They offered us a generous Toscana stew with the first pairing, a cheese, bread, prosciutto, and aperitif for the second pairing and a piece of cake and cookie for the dessert wine pairing. We sat with a group of four other couples and we had an amazing conversation as we were from all over the world. The hosts were very kind as we stayed after the tour was complete and they were completely fine. I highly suggest this tour!
  • Hands down the best wine tour we have ever been on. I highly recommend you go to this tour. It was well worth the money and everything about the tour allowed me to understand how special this winery is overall. They only produce 18,000 bottles a year and if you are not one of the 18,000 you are really missing out on something special.
  • We had a nice tour (in English) in the Guardastelle vineyards. The lady who showed us around, gave general information in the shade and then lead us through the domain and gave some more additional information. She was able to answer all other questions of the visitors. We came with a toddler (5y) and a baby (1y). Every one was very kind for the children, a separate meal was prepared for them during the tasting. We liked the accommodation very much, also to spend your holidays over there (there is a B&B or appartments with pool available).
  • I took my 2 daughters on vacation to Italy. Our favorite day was spent at Guardastelle. We took a cooking class in the morning with Fausto. He taught us some of he’s families favorite recipes. After class we sat in their beautiful garden eating our delicious creations and enjoyed their amazing wines. The accommodations were more than we expected...beautiful, clean, quiet and we even saw lightening bugs. I highly recommend Guardastelle. I hope to return someday!!!
