  • Crazy having to pay for the ticket to visit a church. Even more absurd is NOT to GIVE YOU a LOOK CHEAP BEFORE the EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION that YOU are GOING to participate. If the municipality, or the Superintendent, or the curia-via a cooperative society formed by people who abuse easily tourists-have decided to use in this way, the artistic and architectural beauty of the Duomo, Siena tourism really shows the shortness of breath. Yet, faced with such great beauty, cultural tourism and food and wine, of the past, become real economic system.

  • If you don't want to waste time in restaurants, it's worth buying a sandwich and eat sitting on the steps of the Collegiata, as do students.

  • The interior is majestic and the frescoes are a delight! Quite a wonderful cathedral!
  • An amazing church with amazing history.
  • Gorgeous frescos.
  • I can judge only from outside, because when we got there was a funeral and we could not get. The structure is simple and straightforward, in line with the rest of the village. From the front, on the left, through a small staircase leads to a cloister where there is also the Museum of sacred art.

  • It's one of those visits. The ticket price including the audio guide, which explains very well that treasure of paintings that are contained within. The Annunciation exists outside is just an appetizer. As you enter you can't remain open-mouthed: on the left are told on three levels, scenes from the Bible, the story of Christ right on that d. At the bottom, the sides of the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, here is the Division of the good guys, right, from the bad guys, left, according to a story reminiscent of the inferno of Dante. Finally, next to the presbytery, is the chapel of santa fina, with fine paintings, tell the story of the patron saint of the city
