  • Located in piazza del Duomo is at the top of a wide staircase which dominates the Western side of the square. The façade overlooking the square is in Romanesque style, in primitive lfacciata key is in place of the apse is preceded by a staircase and is opened by a double portal with monolithic and bezel. The Interior has three naves, with frescoed vaults and with painted plaster on the walls. The Church is decorated with important painting cycles covering all the walls. To visit

  • If you are in san gimignano is a must visit this masterpiece of Romanesque art. accessed laterally; the exterior is simple as opposed to rich frescoed Interior, with the remains of the old altar and immense walls where they reproduced scenes from the old and New Testaments, as well as the chapel of Santa Fina. the cost of the ticket, which is of 4 €, includes audio guides that explain in detail all the biblical scenes.
