  • Parties in the morning by boat for the visit from the port of Portese. After about 10 minutes by ferry arrived on the little island full of plants and great vegetation. Very good the guided tour that allowed him to learn many historical and architectural aspects of the building and the owners.

  • We decided to make the ride us right in the short term (in the morning of the trip) to the Isola del Garda. The book was trouble-free. The information on the departure location in Sirmione was however somewhat spongy and we had to ask us first, as there were no signs. (If above goes to the port in the old town to the left to the Lake is place of departure). During the boat trip it is advisable for the outward journey right at the back left to sit at a window. From there, one has the best view of the island and Sirmione to take photos. On the island we were divided into three groups (depending on the language). As German group were we first start, what had the advantage that us at the baseball never someone in the image as. Also on the balcony, we were first and enjoyed the look knows a snack (bread with oil, olives, cheese, wine or juice). We are normal for guided tours, but this was very good and really worthwhile! We found the price performance ratio is also ok.

  • The island is really a gem. Already the location with views of the island and the small bays is worth the trip. And of course the breaking with its gardens

  • One word...fantastic! Do not miss the opportunity of visiting this island when around Lake Garda. 50 euros included a boat ride from Port Portese for two with a great guided tour of the island and house followed by wine and olive oil tasting. The island produces its own olive oil that can be bought for 10 euros (0.5l) and it tastes great. The photo opportunities whilst there are endless and the tour guides are so in love with their jobs (and who wouldn't be) that they make the visit that extra special.
  • The largest island of Lake Garda, owned by the family Carrion-bourgeois. Has a beautiful botanical garden, very well taken care of. You can book tours of the island.
