  • Not great but with so many historical pearls. For children there is a treasure hunt that makes the visit interesting for them as well.

  • We are passionate about fossils! Every year we come back to San Candido in the beautiful Museum of Michael Wachrler, we looked at in may on rai 2 on retequattro, congratulations! I also read your books and are instructive and cotton SP to understand. The novelty of this July the new film which was filmed just when last year dropped a piece of mountain (Rotwand) a show! Highly recommended! Keep it up

  • There is no explanation of the exhibits in the Museum. There is a path forward, missing panels or explanatory brochures. The entrance ticket (€22 for 2 adults and 2 children) is absolutely outrageous for a visit of this kind. Not recommended, definitely to be avoided.

  • I did not like the shop at the Museum entrance. But that should end the shop! And 9 euro seemed a bit tantini for visiting. In addition to the cashier didn't know tell me if they have an agreement with our hotel. I mean I thought was more a publicity stunt to sell things more than contact the Museum as such.

  • It works on the home page as a Dino Museum of kind of, in it's real a fossil show more. There are some a few smaller dinosaur models, but this is something little for children. What was great for our children (2 + 5), was the search of crystals in the "Ballast". If you like, you can look at fossils also still videos on various topics in relation to the Dolomites in several languages in addition to the or bring the legends and myths of the region. Overall, it's something small, unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs and strollers meet (to the Museum must be one of checkout (located in a souvenir shop of kind of) only via stairs into the basement and then for parts of the exhibition again in another place up). The € 9 admission is worth maximum for Geology students.

  • The newly remodeled Museum offers a history of the Dolomites from the point of view of dinosaurs. Inside you can admire minerals and fossils of dinosaur and also a sort who has been given the name of the owner. A treasure hunt for small (and beyond). The gift shop is stocked. The staff were very friendly.
