  • Nice Castle inland from Pescara. Nice views and beautiful scenery. The Interior could be kept better but always worth a visit.

  • A unique Castle, with furnishings and original works, to visit. Strategic location on the slopes of Morrone with superb views over the Majella. The Valley is that of Orta. The castle of the year 1000, all in stone, handsome and charming. Within many artworks, costumes, furniture, antiques, weapons, armor, and other instruments of torture that would make the happiness of many museums, but not held according to the rules is that the maintenance exhibition. Today it houses a restaurant. I noticed that the paintings are placed almost at the ground behind the chairs in the restaurant, in a State of grave danger, period costumes with mannequins placed outdoors in bad weather. Own-Baron Mario Di genova-the last reported in family tree-90-year-old living in the United States. In my opinion, for the enjoyment of such property, even for the future, it would be useful, indispensable and necessary, a filing on the quantity and consistency of the works.

  • Went there on 16 August with some girlfriends, with which we were out hiking in the mountains. Around lunch time one of these had the inspiration to take us to this place to eat, and I must say it was worth it. The castle is beautiful, as is the scenery and the surrounding area. As I mentioned it was shortly after August and at lunch it was just us. When we saw it we felt a bit uneasy because inside was set with a reception hall. We wanted to enjoy the view so we wonder you can eat outside and we were satisfied. We took a mixed appetizer and then the first. I ate the noodles with wild boar sauce that weren't all that bad, but I tasted the gnocchi to the three types of meat cooked in wine which were sublime. It was supposed to be a quick lunch and at the end we were so good we didn't want to leave. We would definitely recommend it. The only drawback, I would have appreciated a little more professionalism on the part of the owner, which I found too truthful to my liking.
