  • .... What about ... There are reviews of all kinds, almost all more or less positive. Also I wanted to write something good about the Museum but unfortunately I'm not able to see it! And why, you ask ... Closing day, end time ... No!!! Simply because the staff didn't went to work! Nothing short of amazing. I went to Salerno with my boyfriend with an organized trip to see the famous illuminations in the city, really wonderful. The city is beautiful and we had a wonderful day. Having much time available we decided to go to the Museum more or less 6, 7 km from the Centre. So we had to take the "metro" (if you want to call it that), to visit the Museum. Little information on the street, but asking here and there it wasn't hard to get. We even called twice to be sure it was open so as not to make the trip. Glad we could visit it, we go to the Museum and ask at the counter where there was an employee of the Campania region which tells us that you cannot visit him because the three girls working there didn't went to work. Without words ... A big disappointment.

  • The Museum is small but well maintained. We were accompanied in the visit by a volunteer, who has caught our attention for about 2 hours. Recommend the visit at all, particularly families with children.

  • It is the first museum in Italy, telling the allied landings on the coast of Salerno in September 1943, Salerno capital and bases for the Renaissance de Monster Country within easy reach, by car, bus, metro. It is very interesting, and is also host to conferences, events.

  • A nice, small museum to visit when traveling through Salerno.
  • The story requires a recall to memory and absolves the landing Museum task of not to forget a recent and painful page in history of Salerno and nationally. The guided tour shows you places, people and events in a complete and understandable. To visit.
