The Museum collects pieces collected throughout the province, starting from the prehistoric, Etruscan pieces, partly because many in the town there is an archaeological Etruscan sannitica. One of the most special pieces is the head of a statue of the God Apollo, who was accidentally fished out from the sea by fishermen in 1930 and datable to between the 1st century b.c. and A.d. 1°show original

I have been with the children on several occasions. The finds therein preserved and displayed in showcases, and various periods under particular archaeological fossils found throughout the province, that historic, particularly those relating to the landing of the allies in September 1943 on the coast of Salerno and many others, are very unique and deserve to be known and admired. Innovative management of cultural Foundry Association place which allows to organize the museum birthday parties. I happened to accompany children on a couple of occasions and raved, particularly for the construction of a clay pot that they then brought home as a gadget and I remember the party. The distinguishing feature of the place is the "head of Apollo" but in General, despite the small size is well cared for as Museum and gives an overview of the various evolutions of the city of Salerno and its province and territory.show original
