  • Going to Mantua, one cannot visit this which was the official residence of the Dukes of Gonzaga in the second half of the 14th century. Among the masterpieces you can admire the Sala del Pisanello, the study of Isabella d'Este and the cycle of Flemish tapestries, fabrics on cartoons by Raphael. Inside is then the bridal chamber. I also was lucky enough to see a fragment of the Rubens altarpiece, which was dismembered during the Napoleonic occupation (is available until mid March 2017).

  • A few rooms (compared to the Palace of Mantua) but spectacular. The property is well landscaped and you don't want to miss a visit

  • Externally palazzetto of great value. Inside unfortunately the situation is still dramatic. What could the weather, the Earth tremors Common offices who lived until recently ... Few fine and few coffered ceiling fresco the only things left to see. Four wooden equestrian statues with Gonzaga, put there to fill the living room are not enough to justify a visit, for more Wizard. Amenities at MECCANO Orange and electric cables running everywhere we want to talk about it? That sad ending ... If a Gonzaga could see it now, would be many heads to fall! ;)
