  • The Doge's Palace was the Duke's representative office. Inside you can admire the equestrian statues of Gonzaga, frescoes and stuccoes, Golden ricorperti.

  • This attraction can be visited thanks to ticket and it is for this reason alone that we visited. the best thing are the ceilings for the rest isn't that great; the frescoes are not restored (would be nice) and the rooms House contemporary art works which I believe is not the best but that's a personal opinion. The locals are not heated.

  • Going to Mantua, one cannot visit this which was the official residence of the Dukes of Gonzaga in the second half of the 14th century. Among the masterpieces you can admire the Sala del Pisanello, the study of Isabella d'Este and the cycle of Flemish tapestries, fabrics on cartoons by Raphael. Inside is then the bridal chamber. I also was lucky enough to see a fragment of the Rubens altarpiece, which was dismembered during the Napoleonic occupation (is available until mid March 2017).
