  • There is very little to see in Rovigo and this place was last on my list before I left. There are hours posted outside the door and a fee of 2 euros to enter. I walked inside as a few people were leav...  more »
  • None of the churchs that I have seen in Europe is so perfect as La Rotonda. Rovigo is a small city, with no incredible attractions, but this place is magical.  more »
  • The round footprint and the huge number of paintings are the most attractive features, but the quite is the most impressive one.  more »

  • This church is really interesting -- well worth a visit if you are in Rovigo. The church is in the form of a circle, with statues and frescoes all around. Really beautiful.
  • It is the Pearl of Rovigo! It's definitely the Pearl of Rovigo, from outside and especially for works (paintings) kept internally made to thank that the plague struck the city. Appreciated the belfry by Longhena, and the nearby ancient Jewish cemetery, unfortunately often not open to the public.

  • The setting is stunning and oozes of stories and emotions. The keeper was very friendly and helpful, we see that is a fervent Catholic, but even that is love of this wonderful Monument: he described and told so many things also deepened. A true Guide, free, by the way! We recommend a visit to the uniqueness and beauty.

  • Characteristic octagonal-shaped interior, Church of the beata Vergine del Soccorso, many frescoes and artworks in the Church, some of which represent the miraculous events that took place through the intercession of Mary.
