  • Good staging of an exhibition on the Nabis, with some paintings by Gaugain. To appreciate the layout of the Palace exhibition purposes. Some paintings definitely appreciable.

  • Exhibitions at Palazzo Roverella are always exciting and intelligent trip through art; the last landings to the twentieth century, with "the demon of modernity", have traced the furrow to a characterization and a discovery of a pictorial figure unique in Italian. Not that the exhibition of "the Nabis and Gauguin": not a logical thread that could match the painters nabis with Italian painters, if not concurrence of the early 20th century; not a narrative thread, but an academic approach among the authors sometimes really forced. Nabis, Gauguin and art painting: are too many and too broad, you may not say anything without getting really in emotion and depth to anyone. Gauguin is too minimal to be mentioned in the title. The exhibition is still impeccably laid out, in a great scenic presentation between the different colors for the works.

  • View interesting and original both for the choice of paintings exhibited for their combination, as do other shows that over the last few years I have had the opportunity to visit at Palazzo Roverella: all components, which undoubtedly ended up rendermele a periodic appointment not to be missed, though, before restoration and before opening this Palace-intended for temporary exhibitions but also the valuable collection of permanently hosting Accademia dei Concordi-I've never had the opportunity to visit this charming and cared for provincial capital with a human face. During a short stay, the historic centre of Rovigo also offers the possibility to visit the most interesting and characteristic Palladian Temple of the Madonna del Soccorso, known as the Rotunda, as well the nearby Gothic church of St. Francis and a contiguous scenic Oratorio, as well as the more peripheral but unmissable Museo dei Grandi Fiumi, rich in pre and Protohistoric relics crucial to the knowledge of our earliest human settlements along the river Po: unearthed, mostly positive, indirect disastrous flood legacy of Polesine which of the early ' 50 of the last century and so relatively recently, set then with the latest Museum in the restored brilliant conception convent of Saint Bartholomew.
