  • The view of Rome is beautiful, but not need to enter the villa Medici to get a good view. Villa Borghese, we got the same. The gardens are disappointing, just maintained. We s yet expect a jewel: in reality far from it!

  • Sleep at the Villa Medici is an exceptional experience! We give you the head of this magnificent VIlla and you are at home. Historic House of 70 m 2 with a 360 degree view of Rome! We thank the Academy of France to allow its visitors to spend a night in a setting as breathtaking. This is not a hotel so don't expect any service but what importance... We highly recommend this unique experience!

  • Only one english guided tour per day- at 12.00! So be careful :) Also limited amount of people per one tour. I do not want to say this place has nothing to offer but for me it was not that interesting...  more »

  • Villa is nice, guided tour is well done, but you need to be a serious art lover to enjoy it - the whole story revolves around previous and current artists and their works inside this academy.
  • The Villa's website fails to clearly explain that a guided tour is the one and only way to visit. Also, a tour in English is only available once per day. A tour in French is available six times per day. Maybe six times more French speakers visit? I am sure the villa is very lovely but I was robbed of my visit by poor website information.
  • Stunning setting and beautiful Renaissance architecture. The gardens are perfect for strolling and observing all of Rome, and the Romans themselves. Fountains, statues, and loads of places to just sit and read a book.
  • Espetacular
  • Looks okay but info on tours is difficult to come by
