  • Despite passing us hundreds of times I was unaware that so much beauty and so much history could be hidden behind those walls. Once past the entrance a wonderful story page opened. Well-kept remains, well-preserved mosaics, mausoleums bearing the history of Orazi and curiazi. Truly a rich history review.

  • I have been twice to visit this site; the site is really very nice. the guides are very well-prepared archaeologists who catch the attention for the duration of the visit. go there because you'll spend some pleasant time

  • Fantastic value for money. At least 3 hours to visit properly. Lots to see and quiet because it’s outside the city.  more »

  • Beautiful, near the famous via Appia antica.
  • The sole sightseeing place was nice but after visiting so many antic places in Rome this seem a bit empty. What was worth actually was going on a bike through whole Via Antica. This was actually one of the best things for us in Rome. Complesso di Santa Maria is just one of many antic pitstops on thia beautiful route. I reccomend anybody if they already seen the tourist stuff like colloseum to just rent a bike and time travel a bit through old roman road with dozens of antic buildings and cozy places on each side of this beautiful place.
  • Much less touristy place and a great walk. Enjoyed learning more of ancient Rome without the crowds of people found in other tourist places in Rome.
  • This is a beautiful spot with a wonderfully restored tower in the heart of (and a bit hidden) just off the Appia Antica and adjacent to Villa dei Quintili - I highly recommend a visit while on a stroll or bike ride along The Appia Antica.
  • Beautiful place for the towering ruins that tower over the 5th mile of the Quintili villa, the attached property is very nice for fast dining, clean bathrooms, environments, on a rainy day, comfortable. There are always no chairs or benches to enjoy the place in peace. To see.
