  • The discovery of this archaeological site just a few steps from the Trevi fountain has been a wonder surprise! The water source is still quite visible, like the castellum aquae where you collected the water that flowed into the water maiden, that powered the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and fountain, through "via dei condotti" la Barcaccia Spanish Spain. Recommend to visit with a guide to fully grasp all the charm and the incredible story of this hidden gem!

  • Behind the Church of Saints Vincent and Anastasius at the Trevi fountain in front of the Square, I found a wonderful treat the "Vicus Capraius", unearthed between 1999 and 2001 during the renovation of the former Cinema Trevi. Archaeological excavations, financed entirely from the Cremonini group, the owner of the building, now makes it possible to admire a modern space that goes well with the old. Inside you can admire the Acqua Vergine. The ticket costs euro 3 and there are discounts for certain categories.
