  • Every time I go to Rome, I stop at the Trevi Fountain. This time I was struck by the signs indicating this archaeological site. A short walk from the Trevi Fountain, during the renovation of the former Cinema Trevi, archaeological surveys have unearthed this remarkable archaeological site that covers an area of about 350 square meters. To visit!

  • This small archeological site just meters away from the more famous Fontana di Trevi deserves a visit for its atmospheric underground setting, but for the non-initiated it might end up in a 10 minutes...  more »
  • Only I was interested in this visit. But our youth was so impressed that there were questions about questions, much to the delight of the young lady present, who willingly explained everything exactly. Much better than expected. Turn your back on the fountain and then go into the side alley. There you can see the sign - Viscus Caprarius.

  • Super quick little museum but gives you an idea of what's under the streets of Rome. There price is really cheap. Anything more and might not be worth it. Staff was great and let us in right before close.
  • Pros: - cheap (especially with Roma pass) - cool ruins Cons: NA Cool place, it's behind a building from the Trevi fountain. There's a part of an older city under that area, and the water is supposedly coming from the Trevi fountain. For 1.5€ (with Roma pass, 2.5€ without), it was totally worth it.
  • The city’s water close to the Trevi Fountain an interesting place to discover underground is the best archeological secrets of Rome a short visit to refresh your experience and enjoy your wonderful vacation
  • I highly recommend this tiny museum next to the Trevi Fountain. It is quite small, so you should not need more than 30 minutes, which is easy to implement even in a stressful day. The staff is very friendly, in particular the girl who gave me my tour made it very interesting and understandable.
  • Very nice, a place to see.
