  • The street is known for the attack made on March 23, 1944 by GAP (partisan units of Italian Communist Party) against a Department of the German occupation forces, whose reaction led to the tragedy of the fosse ardeatine. Not to be forgotten

  • Via anonymous enough, but note to the historical facts of ' 44: here a group of partisans made a bomb against a German platoon and what is trigger the retaliation that led to the massacre of the Fosse Ardeatine.

  • Nothing fancy like road, but the particularity for the events are activities present as great restaurants, osteria romana, highly recommended hotels, hardware stores, there are very few downtown in electronics area 3, great hairdresser, pizza and kebabs, what about a road that offers almost everything ️ ✌

  • A wonderful dining experience in this beautiful, little hidden gem of a restaurant. This is classic Roman cuisine done with contemporary finesse. The dining room is comfortable, while not large. There is also outdoor seating available when things get busy. Hidden away on a quiet side street, this restaurant affords a lovely setting for a family or intimate dinner. My wife and I enjoyed sharing the classic antipasti spread of cold meats (salami, prosciutto, coppa), olives and cheese. Wonderful! Then she had the grilled sea bass, while I had the spaghetti carbonara, followed by grilled veal. To die for! The veal melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was quite intimate and romantic. Mario (the owner) was working the dining room the night we were in, and being as we were rather early (7:00-ish), it wasn't too busy for him to take some time talking with us in his near-perfect English. What a fascinating fellow! We understand that things pick up as the evening progresses and they get quite busy, so I'd recommend getting there sooner, rather than later. Run, don't walk, to Hostaria Rasella next time you're in Rome!
  • Had such an awful experiences eating here. Went in because i mistook it for the restaurant i wanted to go to - it has a similar name to a place just a few steps away that has amazing reviews online. Shouldve been suspicious when i saw the place practically empty despite being peak dinner time. But the waiter got my order wrong and proceeded to yell at me in italian when i told him this isn't what i ordered. Eventually got a different dish after his yelling but was glared at and made so uncomfortable while eating that it felt hostile. And the owner made me pay partially for the wrong order (almost made me pay full and more yelling) i was just so fed up with this place that i paid and left. And to make things worse i started feeling sick on my walk back home and threw up a few times. This place is so awful it's ridiculous.
  • We stumbled upon this place on vacation and absolutely loved it. First of all, we were the only tourists there, as it was off the beaten path a bit. Second of all, the food we ordered was DELICIOUS. Not only were the gnocchi light, but the sauce was perfectly flavored and captured the freshness of the tomatoes with skill and precision. We left the restaurant feeling that the gnocchi was the best we'd ever had, after 2 weeks in Italy no less. Third of all, the service was wonderful. The waitress and owner were extremely attentive and friendly. Fourth of all, the interior was simple but tasteful and the facilities were clean. Overall, an excellent dining experience I, a very picky restaurant-frequenter, was very happy with. Rock on Hosteria Rasella! PS. The host at the hotel next door was very nice!
  • So disappointed! They are the imposter to the restaurant next door, the Hostaria Romana. Clearly playing off the name of the competition, they even pretended that I actually had made a reservation with them. It would have been barely ok, but the food was lousy! My last night in Rome and so terribly disappointed. I am sorry that I missed having dinner at Hostaria Romana, the place was packed when we walked by after being duped by this restaurant. Two thumbs down!!! Plus the waiter stood outside the restaurant smoking and staring at us while we ate.
  • Good food, friendly service, good price!
