The historic Trastevere neighborhood is known for its narrow, cobblestone alleyways and medieval structures. Enjoy a small-town feel in this area south of Vatican city along the banks of the Tiber river. Wander the streets to see the eclectic mix of old shops and trendy cafes. Head to the Piazza Santa Maria to admire the architecture of the basilica. The neighborhood has a vibrant nightlife that contrasts with the more laid-back daytime. • In Trastevere should definitely visit and day-when the narrow ancient streets you will not find any tourist, and evening-Osteria Trattoria and when many are filled with local and not very visitors, sounds of live music, talks, eternal holiday atmosphere, warmth and universal love!) Incredibly cozy and colorful place. When working in Rome (I am a wedding photographer) necessarily cite their couples in Trastevere taking pictures! More Italian places in Rome than is not found!
