  • Placed at the start of Via Veneto, is the church built by Antonio Barberini ... We are in fact close to Piazza Barberini. very austere outside, inside is full of really nice cloths ... There are small pamphlets that explain the Chapel to chapel that you are seeing ... after visiting advises you to navigate in the Museum of the convent of Capuchins

  • It was the Church of reference of the Barberini family, and in fact is just a few meters from the square and the Palace of this noble family, which with Pope Urban VIII and his brother wanted to be buried. In Baroque style, has ten chapels rich in relics and works of art, including the masterpiece of G. Kidneys the Archangel Saint Michael driving out Lucifer, in the sacristy houses a Saint Francis in prayer, recently attributed to Caravaggio. A curiosity concerns the original topography of the Church which was located in a rural area in front of the palazzo Barberini Square, also included a Bell Tower and a large convent that were torn down after the unification of Italy, for the construction of via Veneto and the construction in the late nineteenth century by ministries and other buildings.

  • The crista of the Capuchins is a unique place. If it were not for its religious character, it seems it is the Lair of the members of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Incredible.
