  • These are personal views of a 76 year old, retired, well travelled, healthy, reasonably wealthy and curious. I have quite good French and German, did Latin and Greek at school, and had a successful se...  more »
  • The school divides students into homogeneous classes. The syllabus are clear, the teacher gave a well-structured course and the many exercises made good progress.

  • There were very few Japanese students, and the environment was surrounded by Italy words every day. I also frequent exchange meetings with local Italy students, helping me to become familiar with local life while learning Italy language, and made a lot of friends. I really appreciate the teachers!

  • Scuola Leonardo DaVinci is a leader in Italian language education. I have followed the program for over twenty-five years, and as a professor teaching for nearly forty years in the Department of Art and Architecture at an American liberal artscollege, we have sent students to Rome every year for several decades. Studying Italian language is central to the curriculum of our study abroad program in Rome, and Scuola Leonardo’s innovative and comprehensive approach has students’ speaking/using the language in rudimentary ways after just several weeks, and, within a relatively brief timeframe, in ever more sophisticated ways. But the trick is to get over the fear of using the language on the street, and then, with practice comes confidence, and the language flows more easily. As an example of the Scuola’s success, I recently accompanied one of our students to the hospital after he sustained an injury requiring an X-ray. The doctor spoke fluent English, but the student discussed the circumstances and his symptoms in Italian! I was impressed and proud, as he did quite well. This is a testament to Scuola Leonardo DaVinci! I strongly recommend this program whose instructors are kind and personable, the staff competent and very friendly, and with wonderful students from around the globe, including many from American universities, coming to Rome for Italian culture and language. • Do not do IMAT PREP COURSE in my opinion it was too much money and its not enough for the imat , i regret doing it because i feel all of the resources i was capable of doing it myself online sitting in my home selfstudy and i felt the course never helped much at all ...
  • I love this school! ❤️️ The teachers are amazing and I had a good experience!! 😊
  • I met the most interesting & kind people while attending to this school. Great teachers whom are understanding & helpful, they teach Italian to the highest level and are patient with you during the process. 100% recommended if you want to learn Italian fast and effectively
  • DO NOT DO THE IMAT PREP COURSE. Not worth the money. The Chem prep was lousy, the professor couldn't communicate properly. I kept in contact with at least 1/2 the people from the 2018 summer prep group and no one made it.
