  • The Church of San Salvatore, with straightforward façade is located on a quiet, tree-lined square not far from the Tiber River and the bridge of Sant'angelo. Inside most our attention was attracted by the dazzling gilded malahitovymi altar with columns. One of the most important relics of the temple is an ancient wooden crucifix.

  • On a place of a temple dedicated to Saint Salvador, according to the legend was originally the Laurel Grove, hence the name of the Church. We found her on the road from Piazza Navona to Sant'angelo Castle. The interiors of the temple inspired by the architectural style of Andrea Palladio. In one of the altars discovered "Christmas" Pietro da Cortona.

  • That this church is beautiful! I especially like Simon of Cyrene helping Jesus carry his cross. It is so realistic that it awaken the faith of an atheist (or almost)!

  • Sooo many churches in rome. This one is not super fancy but still worth a visit if you are around the area!
  • A nice and relatively austere church
  • Nice little church, in a quiet area of Roma
  • Great
  • A church unknown to pro, but which is located a few steps from Piazza Navona. Relilzzata at the end of ' 500, has an airy interior, with the space filled with columns and pilasters, stucco and Misc! Recommend a visit to the nearby Museum, where you can visit the beautiful cloister and be fascinated by what it contains ...
